In this work, Ag/Ag2O composites were synthesized by treating silver thin films manufactured thermal evaporation method with oxygen plasma afterglow. order to verify the antibacterial behavior of these composites, inhibition zone tests realized for Staphylococcus aureus. The results showed that individual nanoparticles at concentrations can be controlled stoichiometric ratios main factor in bacteria. addition, we found degree degradation absorption peaks represented a suitable criterion determining bacterial activity prepared oxide films. also sample treated 1000 watts gave highest rate inhibition. This research includes an attempt correlate structural and spectroscopic properties
